采用分子遗传学、细胞生物学、基因组学、蛋白质组学和生物信息学等手段, 以模式植物拟南芥和蔬菜为材料，研究：（1）植物生殖发育关键环节减数分裂的遗传和表观遗传调控机制；（2）减数分裂重组在作物育种中的应用。
Using molecular genetics, cell biology, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics and other approaches in Arabidopsis and vegetables to study: (1) the molecular mechanisms in regulation of meiosis during plant reproductive development; (2) the application of meiotic recombination in speeding crop breeding.
