主要从事土壤生物多样性研究,着重于土壤线虫群落动态和对环境变化的响应、地上—地下生物联系、各种全球变化因子影响下的食物网动态与生态系统响应、线虫的系统发育及地理分布等,近年来特别关注土地围垦、植物入侵、氮富集等人类干扰活动对土壤生物多样性和生态系统功能的影响,以及相应的生态系统修复,近年来主持多个国家自然科学基金、科技部支撑计划项目等。
