Using molecular genetics, cell biology, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics and other approaches in Arabidopsis and vegetables to study: (1) the molecular mechanisms in regulation of meiosis during plant reproductive development; (2) the application of meiotic recombination in speeding crop breeding.
