李新松教授1992年获南开大学高分子化学与物理博士学位,1992-1994年北京大学技术物理系从事核医学博士后研究,1995-1997年在青岛大学化学系工作,1997年至今在化学生物学与制药工程系工作,2007年5-11月在哈佛医学院Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC)从事基因药物研究,2001年创建生物材料和药物释放实验室(Biomaterials and Drug Delivery Laboratory),2006年创建东大-海昌(生物材料)研发中心。实验室在高分子与生物、医学、工程学交叉领域开展基础研究和应用研究,开发具有重大临床应用价值的新型生物医学材料、药物,开发新型高分子工程材料。研究方向:
 1.高分子生物材料
采用物理、化学、生物学方法,设计水凝胶、纳米纤维新型高分子生物材料,研究结构与性能之间的关系
研制生物水凝胶组织工程支架,分析细胞与材料相互作用,研发组织和器官培养,开发组织修复材料
研究新型高分子生物材料在眼科、整形外科等临床中的应用
 2.药物与释放系统
设计合成药物磷脂分子,研究用于治疗肿瘤、自身免疫性疾病、疟疾的脂质体纳米药物
研究基于新型磷脂、多肽的纳米组装体,开发有应用潜力的纳米给药系统
研究新型高分子药物控释系统,实现病灶微环境响应释药与疾病治疗
 3.高分子功能材料
将实验室生物材料技术原理应用于海洋、大气、水环境工程领域,开发新型高分子功能材料

 在Biomaterials,ACS Applied Materials &Interfaces, Bioconjugate Chemistry,International Journal of Pharmaceutics,Nanomedicne(UK) 杂志上发表高水平研究论文120多篇,获得发明专利授权20多项。成功转让一种可吸收高分子纳米纤维生物材料(三类医疗器械)技术,2004年协助企业获生产许可注册证,是世界上第一个应用于临床的纳米纤维三类医疗器械产品,14年来大规模应用于各大医院外科、骨科、整形外科、胸外科、妇产科等临床手术,受惠患者达到数百万,2014年获四川省人民政府颁发的名牌产品称号,单品种年销售额超亿元,取得巨大的经济效益和社会效益
