1997至2008就读于湖南大学电气与信息工程学院，2001年获自动化专业学士学位、2004年获控制理论与控制工程专业硕士学位、2008年获电气工程专业博士学位

2008年至今，湖南大学电气与信息工程学院电气工程系任教；
2011年7月至2014年6月，控制科学与工程博士后流动站博士后工作；
2014年7月至2015年7月，英国赫特福德大学访问学者。
