1984年于成都科技大学理论化学专业获得理学学士学位，1989年获取成都科技大学原子和分子物理专业硕士学位，1995年获取四川大学原子和分子物理专业博士学位

1995年至1997年在西南交通大学从事博士后研究工作，随后留校工作至今。
