在科研方面主要从事数值代数与科学计算、图像处理、模式识别与目标追踪的相关研究工作。主持完成国家自然科学基金2项、中国博士后科研基金和电子科技大学校青年基金各1项,在研四川省科技计划项目1项; 参与973计划子课题、863课题、教育部科学技术研究重点项目等6项。
