1998年、2003年先后于西南交通大学获得学士、硕士学位，2007年获电子科技大学工学博士学位，

之后留校在自动化工程学院任教。2013年，加拿大滑铁卢大学访问学者，2015年澳大利亚阿德莱德大学访问学者。
