在科研工作上，主要从事电子功能薄膜材料制备以及结构与性能相关性的研究。负责或参加了国家重大基础研究“973”项目（两项）、国家自然科学基金重点项目（一项）和国家自然科学基金面上项目（三项）、总装预研重点项目（一项）、国家重点研发计划课题（一项）以及其他国家级研究项目多项。
