1999. 9 －2004. 12，中国地质大学（武汉）地球科学学院，岩石矿物矿床学学专业学习，获理学博士学位。

1986. 9 月至今，工作于中国地质大学（武汉）

2000 年，4-7，分别在日本的University of Tokyo、Osaka University合作古海洋沉积方面的研究。

作为项目负责人已获得了三项国家自然科学基金项目“华南陆内硅质岩沉积模式及对二叠纪硅质岩事件的响应”(40576028)；“华南二叠纪凉水洋流上涌与回落过程及其生态环境响应”（40972024）；“二叠-三叠系之交牙形石、火山灰层及生物沉积相序列”（41372039）。作为主要研究成员参与完成国家自然科学基金重点项目“放射虫和硅在华南新元古代和古生代烃源岩形成中的作用研究”（40232025）等各类项目5项。
