曾参加国家自然科学基金、国家新药基金、“863”项目，医药局局控项目等纵向课题，在国家自然科学基金、新药基金、江苏省自然科学基金等基础研究项目中，依据肿瘤、感染与炎症性疾病、糖尿病等疾病复杂的发病机制和药物的构效关系，进行新药分子设计及合成，以寻找具有自主知识产权的新药。已参与多项基金的评审，为国内外多家SCI杂志论文审稿专家。
