1965年7月出生于安徽太湖;
1981年9月–1985年7月,安徽师范大学化学系学习,获理学学士学位;
1987年9月–1991年1月,合肥工业大学应用化学专业学习,获工学硕士学位;
2002年9月–2007年5月,中国科学技术大学分析化学专业学习,获理学博士学位;
1985年7月–,合肥工业大学工作,历任助教、讲师(1991.7)、副教授(1997.12)、教授(2000.12)。
曾任应用化学系主任(2001–2003),化学工程学院副院长(2003.8–2007.12),可控化学与材料化工安徽省重点实验室副主任(2007),合肥工业大学图书馆馆长(2011.4–2012.12),现职(2012.12–)。
现兼任中国化学会第29届理事会理事(2014.12–);中国化工学会第40届理事会理事(2017.10–);安徽省化工学会第8届理事会副理事长(2015.12–);合肥市化工学会第5届理事会副理事长(2014.4–)。

电化学微反应器:基于薄层微电反应器的设计研制,发展了光谱电化学和色谱电化学。
(1) 拓展了循环伏吸法,实现对非透电极薄层电解液的动电势原位光谱监测,将光吸收信号经计算机处理转化为各物种的循环伏安曲线和计时电流曲线。这项工作得到国家自然科学基金资助(No. 20776033)。
(2) 自主设计研制了芯片薄层电解池-毛细管电泳联用装置,实现了电活性物质的快速转化和复杂产物的在线毛细管电泳分离检测。这项工作得到国家自然科学基金资助(No. 20972038)。
