2004年本科毕业于兰州大学生命科学学院生物学基地班，同年被推荐免试攻读兰州大学生物化学与分子生物学专业硕士研究生，2007年获理学硕士学位；同年考入中国医学科学院肿瘤研究所分子肿瘤学国家重点实验室攻读细胞生物学博士学位，师从我国著名肿瘤细胞生物学家詹启敏院士，主要从事长链非编码RNA与细胞周期调控的研究，2010年博士毕业
