于1997年留校工作后一直致力于仪器分析的管理及功能开发研究，先后从事了红外光谱、液相色谱、气相色谱/质谱，有机元素分析仪、液相色谱/质谱等大型仪器的管理、功能开发等工作，通过在分析中心多年的测试工作的锻炼，对各种各样样品的分析方法的确定、谱图解析积累了丰富的经验，解决了许多企业的难题。同时还从事本科生、研究生的仪器分析的教学工作。
