1998年10月南京化工大学研究生毕业，获工学博士学位

2002-2004年美国马里兰大学Research Associate, 2006年于南京工业大学破格聘任为教授，同年晋升为博士生导师。

讲授本科及研究生《微纳米力学》、《化工机械学科前沿》及《科技英文写作》课程，现为能源学院副院长。近年来发表论文（一作或通讯联系人）SCI检索论文90余篇，编著中英文书籍2部，申请发明专利10项（授权4项），主持完成的项目分别获国土资源部科学技术二等奖1项及江苏省科技进步三等奖2项。
