承担的科研项目：    
    主持3项国家自然科学基金、主持多项企业横向课题，主持1项湖北省教学改革项目，作为主要研究人员参与4项国家自然科学基金、1项国家重大仪器专项等。发表学术论文30余篇，授权发明专利及实用新型专利多项。2000年博士学位论文获得湖北省优秀博士学位论文奖。2012年获湖北省教学成果一等奖，2014年获国家教学成果二等奖2项（分别排名5、6）。
