积极开展学术交流，先后访问了加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学(4个月)、Brock大学(1个月)、澳门大学(3个月)、新加坡国立大学(1个月)、俄亥俄州立大学(1个月)、美国加州大学伯克利分校（1年）,台湾中山大学(1个月)、西班牙马德里理工大学(1个月)、葡萄牙米尼奥大学(1个月)、塞尔维亚尼什大学(1个月)、西班牙瓦伦西亚理工大学(1个月)。派出青年教师和博士生到国外访问及联合培养，派出青年教师5人，博士生6人。此外，我们还邀请国外著名专家，如加州大学伯克利分校T.Y.Lam等教授来系开设前沿讲座3次，每次2个月，收到了很好的效果，得到研究生院的肯定。
